I wish I could split my rating somehow, as I would rate this book 4 stars for experienced practitioners. It talks about what you might want to do if you get angry, but then explains that these are not always the best choices. Finally, he addresses the principal problem – everyone who is exposed to the illnesses of addiction and the mind is reluctant to talk about it; everyone who is parent of a child with these problems is ashamed of their inability to help their offspring; every individual who is “mentally ill” wants to be different. If I were specifically teaching Job, and I was doing so at the university or seminary level, I’d probably still use Estes, but in conversation with the other volumes I mentioned above. This book is
