Here is an excellent reference for the multitude of ceramics items marked MADE IN JAPAN that were exported between 1921 and 1941. Color photos show hundreds of household ceramics arranged in an easy-to-find alphabetical order from ash trays to wall pockets. Here are many humorous and novelty designs for everything from planters to sugar bowls.
Barbara Ifert is a collector and dealer of "MADE IN JAPAN" ceramics from Ingalls, Indiana.
There are more 500 and 600 level problems than there are 700 level problems.
I have two suggestions:
1) It might be worthwhile just purchasing the Sackmann extreme challenge set (I believe the author offers it as a PDF file on his website). Things that you can continually work on daily, to greatly improve your conversational skills. Some fans act as if we are a 2001 expansion team, never having survived a 3–10, 2–12, 2–14, or a 1–15 season. I rarely find a new book that is worth committing time to --this one is. Secondly, when reading this to young children, be prepared to tell them the rest of the story, as I guarantee they will ask; I know as I have been there and done that with a couple groups of children. Yes, he has theories, but he offers no more than any other book on these last two issues.
