The Cohens allowed themselves to live outside the exhausting world of brain injury, to refresh themselves for the rigors of Daniel's homecoming, and to spend extra time with Jonathan. Nonetheless, the book is a good read and could serve as a good introduction to someone considering the "philosophical life" (read "academic philosophical life") as a career. FOr the reviews that say she doesn't anthropomorphize--I have no idea if they read the same book I did because she does it left and right.
I'm not going to deny that her writing style is easy to read an enjoyable--if it weren't for the crazy misinformation she has because she assumes so many things rather than look at others' research as well as a modern naturalist ought to. Wish they had more books with contemporary artists' music that were arranged as such. October brings out a desire in me to read creepy, horror books. My daugher's guitar teacher uses this book for his group lessons for beginning guitar and we are very p
