This the first monograph in English on Thomas Fearnley (1802-1842), a major romantic landscape artist from Norway. It reveals the full range of Fearnley’s landscape paintings, from large oils to spontaneous sketches, which he produced en plein air during his summer travels in Europe. An innovative artist, deeply committed to naturalism, he is overdue a major reevaluation. The book also examines the artist’s British links both through his Yorkshire ancestors and as a result of his visit from 18368.Five essays consider Fearnley’s career: Ernst Haverkamp discusses his Norwegian upbringing and early studies; David Jackson examines Fearnley’s contribution to the oil sketching tradition in Italy; Ann Sumner investigates the artist’s English work, including his Lake District sketches; Greg Smith focuses on the image of the artist in the landscape; and Kate Lowry adds a note on his painting technique.
David Jackson is professor of Russian & Scandinavian Art Histories, University of Leeds, and the author of 'Christen Kobke: Danish Master of Light' (2010), 'The Russian Vision: The Art of Ilya Repin (1844-1930)' (2006) and 'Akseli Gallen-Kallela: The Spirit of Finland' (2006); Ann Sumner is director of Birmingham Museums Trust and formerly director of the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. She is the author of 'Sisley in England and Wales' (2008) and 'Thomas Jones (1742-1803): An Artist Rediscovered'(2003); Greg Smith is an art historian and research curator at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, and the author of 'Thomas Girtin and the Art of Watercolour' (2005); Frode Ernst Haverkamp is the senior curator, Department of Old Masters and Modern Art, National Museum for Art, Architecture and Design, Norway.

I bought it and read it the first day.

As I look back now after reading her book, I wish I would have known more about alcoholism and the behaviors that can result. This is definately a book that will keep your interest & attention from start to finish!!! Very inspirational; enjoy!!. If you need deep theory, it is here (though you can skip it), and if you want to be able generate synthetic data to explore and validate your models, that's covered too. Adrian Brooks captures the intensity of these moments and portrays the stunning assortment of those involved in vivid detail. Manhattan's advanced quant book has 150 HARD questions with detailed explanations and is a MUCH better overall product than this book.

Finally, these many problems (1000) are an overkill for the GMAT.. Here's what they had to say:
I like the king's son because he is kinda nosey, but he is adventurous, To be honest, I like all of the characters. There are a lot of reasons we can get angry.
